Macaroni & Cheese
Awesome homemade mac & cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup elbow pasta
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 2 cup milk room tempature
- 8 oz velvetta cut into cubes
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta as directed, and drain.
- In a medium saucepan melt the butter.
- Blend in the flour, salt, & pepper.
- Add the milk in slowly, while whisking.
- Cook until thick & bubbly, while whisking.
- Add the velvetta and stir until all combined and or melted.
- Mix the cheese sauce & pasta.
- Place in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
- Place shredded cheese on top and bake another 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
